Regenerating Ecologies and Economies for Livelihoods
Students will expand knowledge of sustainability and business through interdisciplinary teamwork and regenerative livelihood development in this international course. Together with expert Frontlines Environmental Change Initiative Fellows, teams develop field expertise, data collection and analysis, and other in-demand skills that can be applied across industries, public service and the academy.
In the community and in the classroom, teams apply concepts and tools such as an Environmental Social Impact Assessment to real-world business and livelihood scenarios that recognize ecological and social realities and collaboratively build pathways to human flourishing.
Mendoza students will be able to participate in both REEL and Grow Irish. (6 credits)
REEL is offered in partnership with the Notre Dame Environmental Change Initiative (ND-ECI).
